About US
The Birth
Why
Approximately 70% of Nigeria’s population, representing about 98 million people, is under 30. 50% of said population, representing 75 million people are between 18 and 35 (NPC 2006). While most are illiterate and live in rural areas, all of us are disenfranchised and disillusioned.
During The Future Awards in February 2010, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala challenged the young people present to take charge of their destinies. She underlined the population advantage in a way many had never heard before and emphasized that change can only happen when young people say ‘enough’! She didn’t define what form that action should take, but young people were listening.
This, essentially, was the birth of the Enough is Enough Nigeria Coalition.
Who we are
Enough is Enough Nigeria (EiE) is a coalition of individuals and youth-led organizations committed to instituting a culture of good governance and public accountability in Nigeria through advocacy, activism and the mobilization of the youth population as responsible citizens. We are non-partisan, neither are we a platform for the actualization of any individual’s political ambitions.
We belong to every young Nigerian, therefor every young Nigerian or Nigerian group is free to join this organization, except persons, groups or organisations that promote hatred or are involved in terrorism or other acts of violence.
Vision
By 2015, we shall evolve processes that enhance citizen engagement and good governance.
Mission
We believe in the potential of young people to shape Nigeria’s destiny.

Our Focus
We cannot reach every young Nigerian, so we have decided to leverage on the power of technology to reach as many as we can. Therefore, our audience is every young Nigerian with access to technology – internet and mobile phones, and to a lesser degree, television and radio.
